Welcome to the
Capital Region Language Center

CRLC now has two locations in the Capital Region;  Albany and Ballston Spa and we are currently teaching more than 40 classes per week.  Our second fall session is underway and you can join us at any time or register now for the next session which begins on November 16.  Classes are offered in:  Arabic, Chinese, English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), French, German, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swahili (beginning in January 2010).

  • Enrichment and tutoring
  • On-site classes for schools and businesses

Our group class size of four to six students allows for an exceptional amount of conversation practice after just the first 90 minutes of class!

Please note our name change from Las Mariposas Spanish School / Language Center (2002 - 2008).  We are under the same ownership and continue to offer quality programming for children and adults.  We had to change our name to fit our new image - 10 languages instead of just Spanish!

Our Albany location is right off of Wolf Rd. and just a 5 minute walk from The Crossings.  You can park once and go for a walk, run or a bike ride from our location.

The number of classes per session may vary for the adult and children's program. Children's classes typically meet without interruption regardless of your public school's calendar.   Please ask about the exact number of classes when you call to register.
